Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a TV arbitrator of Cuban descent in the shows Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Born in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami when she was just 2 years old, accompanied with her parents. Ana Maria Polo from Habana is the producer and host on Telemundo's "Caso Cerrado", one of the most popular Spanish-language shows that the channel airs. It was nominated as one of the Daytime Entertainment Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards in 2015. It was in 2015 among the top performers in all key demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. Following her graduation the Florida International University's Political science program, she moved to Havana and lived there for the next 20 years. She then earned the PhD in law from The University of Miami. For 20 years, Polo worked in Miami. After that, she received her PhD in law at University of Miami. University of Miami and practiced law for over 20 years in Miami. The legal expertise of Polo was utilized on other court shows, and Telemundo Sala de Parejas 2001, as well as on the television show Sala de Parejas.
