Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international advancements into Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu (his smash hit from 2016) won an Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. The album reached the top of the charts at number eighteen in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca the album that was one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, also featured Noriel alongside Ozuna. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina in the following year. Later in 2021, he performed on a duet TINI on her most streamed song Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was brought up in a musical environment, because both his mother and younger brother are musicians. In interviews, he referred to music participation as mandatory. He learned how to play the guitar, saxophone Ukulele, and piano while a young child. He initially wanted to be Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian encouraged him to take lessons in singing with a Cuban musician, he rearranged his career plans.
