Andrew Garfield

Andrew Russell Garfield was born on the 20th of August 1983 in Los Angeles, California. He is known for his performance in films including The Social Network (2010) The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and Hacksaw Ridge (2016). Garfield started his profession on stage, before moving to the screen in 2005 through Sugar Rush. Garfield made his debut as a film actor with Mumbo Jumbo. He gained acclaim for his performance on The Social Network in 2010 and later in 2012, he played the beloved character of Spider-Man in the new version directed by Marc Webb. He is the daughter of American Richard Garfield and British Lynn Hillman and has an older brother named Ben. His family moved from the US to England at the time they were three. He went to school and brought up in Surrey. It was at this time that he began lessons in acting an early age, and was able to take part in various school productions. In London the city, he made his first theater steps at Central School of Speech and Drama.
